SQL Database Administrator (DBA) Position Overview:
Broadrock Marks are working with an award-winning, mid-sized software business who are on a major growth drive to find them an SQL DBA.
Your core responsibility will be to manage the performance, integrity and security of the company’s databases. This means you will be heavily involved in the planning, development and troubleshooting of databases, as well as ensuring all data remains consistent across the database, that data is clearly defined and all users can access data concurrently. This role offers a lot of responsibility and autonomy as you will take complete control for the company’s databases.
The company’s offices are in the Southampton area and this position will allow you to work 3 days remotely (if preferred) and 2 days in the office.
SQL Database Administrator (DBA) Position Requirements:
- Prior commercial SQL DBA experience.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Performance Tuning and Optimisation experience.
- Knowledge of NoSQL.
- T-SQL experience.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Azure experience/Knowledge.
- Knowledge of RDBMS.
